To ensure your OnTracx sensor performs at its best, we occasionally release firmware updates that improve functionality, accuracy, and overall performance. These updates are not installed automatically, so it’s important to check for updates and install them when available.
Firmware updates are available starting from app version 1.3.6.

How to Update Your Sensor Firmware
1. Ensure You Have the Latest App Version
Before updating your sensor, make sure your OnTracx app is up to date:
Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Search for OnTracx and check if an update is available.
If an update is available, install it before proceeding.
2. Wake Up and Connect Your Sensor
Gently press the pins on the back of your sensor to wake it up.
Open the OnTracx app on your mobile device.
Navigate to Connect Sensor > Connect and select your sensor from the list (match the serial number on the back of your sensor).
3. Start the Firmware Update
If an update is available, a pop-up will appear prompting you to start the update.
Confirm the update and let the process begin.
The update may take a few minutes, so be patient.
4. Stay Close & Keep the App Open
Keep your phone and sensor close together during the update.
Do not close the OnTracx app or switch to other apps while the update is in progress.
Once the update reaches 100%, your sensor is ready to use.
