5. Going for a run

Finally, let's go for a run! By pressing the 'run button' on the dashboard you will be guided to the following screens:

You will be asked to continue running with or without without enabling GPS. Enabling GPS allows us to track your running speed and running distance. Under no circumstances your GPS location will be shared with third parties. This is only for internal use only, and to track your running speed and distance.

There will also appear a screen that shows you how to attach your sensor and strap properly to your lower leg.

You can find all the information on how to attach your strap here, but here are already a few tips. There's also a video available in the app to guide you.
  1. The strap needs to be placed about 10cm above your inner ankle, on the flat part of the shin bone.

  2. This means that the sensor should always face a little bit inwards, not outwards (see the picture below, i.e. an example of a right leg).

  3. The sensor should always placed in the right way. This means with the logo and the text in such a way that you can read it!

    1. Attach the strap firmly. It should however at any time feel comfortable and not hinder your running experience.

    2. We advise to attach the strap to the leg with the most injuries (if applicable). If you didn't encounter any injuries (awesome!), it doesn't matter which leg, but stay consistent.

    3. Before starting your run, jump a few times up and down or jog in place for a few seconds. This helps to check whether the strap stays in place effectively.
