Step-By-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Minimum App Version Requirement

  5. Tap Install to add it to your Garmin device.

Step 3: Connecting your device to the Garmin Application

Connect using the serial number on the back of your sensor (the whole, large number pictured on the back of the sensor.

1. You can manually add the serial through ‘instellingen’ or ‘settings’ of the datafield in the connectIQ APP

OR

2. connect a first time with the sensor to register the serial number to your watch (be sure you are the only one connecting with an OnTracx sensor in that stage given the watch will connect with the first OnTracx device available).

From that point, the serial number will be visible in the ‘instellingen’ / ‘settings’ making sure your watch will always look for your sensor!

Info

First Time Connecting With the Sensor:

The first time you connect with an OnTracx sensor, the serial device of the sensor will be stored so your watch will always try connect to that specific sensor!

Alert
If you want to connect with an other OnTracx sensor, remove the serial number in the ‘instellingen’ or ‘settings’ so your watch will be free to pair with a new OnTracx sensor the next time!

Warning

Now you're all set to track your running load with OnTracx on your Garmin watch!

NOTE: While we do store OnTracx data directly in .fit files that are transferred to Garmin, Garmin has no intention to extract our data and visualize it in the Connect app. We are currently working on a Garmin integration that will pull Garmin running sessions from the Garmin database to the OnTracx database so we can match load with the GPS data from your session and relate it to other metrics that are embedded within the Garmin ecosystem.
